Broadgreen Gardens
The well-regarded Samuels Rose Garden showcases a collection of some 300 named varieties of rose and around 3000 plants and celebrated 50 years of flowering in 2018. A riot of colour and fragrance from November to April, the rose garden is available for weddings and other special occasions.

History of the garden

Booking Broadgreen Garden
The Samuels Rose Garden at Broadgreen Historic House is administered by the Nelson City Council and is available for weddings.
As this is a public park, exclusivity is not an option. The charge for booking is $50 inc GST. This is non-refundable. Please contact the Council directly if you wish to stage an event larger than a wedding.
